TERMS OF TRADE FOR MURANO PLUS LTD effective from November 2024


QUALITY ASSURANCE AND WARRANTY: 

All goods have a 2 year warranty against faulty workmanship or manufacturing. 

Taking faulty products down from customer site and re installing is not covered under this warranty. It is customer’s responsibility to deliver product to Murano plus showroom at customer’s own cost. Once product has been repaired/changed/swapped, whatever outcome under the warranty, customer can collect product from Murano plus site or Murano Plus can ship the product back to customer at customer’s cost. Re-installing repaired/changed lights will be customer’s responsibility at their own cost.

 

DEFECTS

Not covered under this warranty (but not limited to) are;

Improper product use, failure to notify us of any obvious fault within 7 days of receipt of goods, exposure to moisture/sea air which may corrode materials, installation outdoors where not suitable, application of damaging cleaning chemicals or harsh cloths causing scratches, dishwasher cleaning of crystals, electrical surges, incorrect electrical installation, incorrect wattage loading for bulbs, inadequate structural ceiling/wall support, and force majeure.

 

STYLE VS ENVIRONMENT: 

Please choose carefully when considering certain items. Style vs environment is important. Consider the product, size, colour, and the materials to make sure it is suitable. We will not refund, credit, or exchange if the purchaser changes mind. If unsure, please contact us prior to purchase.

 

SALE TERMS:

All sales are final. Clients may only exchange goods for a credit or replacement provided that it has been pre-arranged and in writing at time of purchase. Any credits issued will included additional handling fees and must be redeemed within one year. 

No goods will be released without full payment. 

 

ITEMS ON HOLD:

Will be held for the specified time arranged only. After this items may be returned to stock without notice.

 

INDENT AND CUSTOM DESIGN ORDERS: 

Our products are for the most part handmade in small batches. There may occasionally be manufacturing differences from sample products, images shown, or as previously stocked. These generally have no more than 15% variation. 

All copyright liability for these items is the legal responsibility of the purchaser of the goods from Murano Plus.

 

ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL /INDENT AND CUSTOM ORDERS: 

Unfortunately, delivery times are not always under our control. Arrivals are estimated. We will endeavour to keep our customers updated, but please also maintain contact with us for all future updates. All delivery times are best estimates we are striving to achieve. Murano Plus accepts no responsibility for late deliveries. 

 

PRICING: 

Prices may be subject to change without notice, however we will honour the price for a purchase already in progress.

 

UPLIFT OBLIGATIONS:

For delivery of stock items requested to be sent directly to clients, despatch from Murano Plus is estimated at no more than 7 days from payment, if in stock in NZ and no customisation is requested by the client. This may vary in peak times. 

Once orders are dispatched from our warehouse we can only estimate time of arrival, but will provide the necessary details to track deliveries. If your order is time sensitive please allow for any delays. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to contact the courier for delivery times.

 

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS: 

Will incur a 2.5% surcharge. Customers who wish to avoid this can direct deposit into our bank account (details below).

FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS: 

Must be reported (damages within 24 hours of receipt of goods, faulty goods within 7 days of receipt of goods) or no claims will be accepted. Images are required for assessment. Please retain original packaging for repacking or photographing (if required). If the claim is accepted, they will be replaced once faulty items are returned to Murano Plus. 

Murano Plus will not accept a return unless the item/s are in the original packaging and returned to the original place of despatch. 

If the same item is not available a credit will be issued. This can be used towards the next order or a similar product but must be used within 12 months of date of issue. No credit will be given on freight. Replacement item/s will be delivered to the original address supplied by the purchaser. Freight damage is for buyer's care and insurance.

 

VARIATION TO STOCK: 

All of our products are quality checked. Variation to stock occurs due to the character of the product consistent with handmade processes, or from batch to batch. This is not a fault. Murano Plus will not replace, credit, or refund in such cases. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to notify us in advance if this is vital to their project.

 

COLLECTION FROM MURANO PLUS: 

For those customers wishing to collect their purchase from our showroom premises, it is necessary to book in advance. Pick up times are only between 9.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.

 

INDENT ARRIVAL: 

Prepayments for purchases are subject to our trading terms. No goods will be held for more than 2 months at which time storage charges may be incurred if goods are not picked up.

 

DELIVERY: 

Our pricing does not included delivery. Deliveries may be quoted separately, unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase. If the delivery situation changes after dispatch, such as re-delivery, redirection, extra assistance etc, additional costs may incur. These costs are the responsibility of the purchaser, and are payable to Murano Plus before the delivery is finalised. All freight insurance is for buyer's care, irrespective of who organises the delivery. What occurs after the product leaving our premises is the responsibility of the purchaser.   

 

INSTALLATION: 

Should installation assistance be offered as part of the sale, it is on the following conditions. Scaffolding or access over 5 meters high must be provided by the client and be site safe approved. Heights and access must be provided for accurately by the client in writing. In the event that incorrect or altered access to the area has been provided, access must be provided at the client's cost. A qualified electrician must complete the electrical connections. 

Integrating products with electronic systems for home managements shall be the responsibility of the client and their electrician.
